Lower Bucks Hospital Reflects on Engaging Heart Talk at Bristol Township Senior Center for National Heart Month
Bristol, PA [February 13,2025] – Lower Bucks Hospital is excited to share the success of a recent heart health seminar held last Friday at the Bristol Township Senior Center, featuring the insightful contributions of distinguished cardiologist Dr. Shahzad Ahmed and Radiology Director Michael Mignone. This important event was part of the observance of National Heart Month, focusing on educating and empowering the senior population in our community about the critical aspects of heart health and disease prevention.
As heart disease continues to present significant challenges for older adults, the heart talk served as a valuable platform for discussing prevention strategies, the importance of early detection, nutrition, and lifestyle changes that can greatly enhance cardiovascular wellness. Dr. Ahmed and Michael Mignone engaged the audience with an interactive presentation, sharing their extensive knowledge and passion for promoting heart health among seniors.
