The Lower Bucks Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program is AOA accredited through it’s Osteopathic Postdoctural Training Institution (OPTI)- Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. The hospital is located 20 miles northeast of Center City Philadelphia and just across the Delaware River from Burlington, New Jersey.
Our program has several hallmarks. Our emphasis is on education, not service. We are focused on the outpatient experience for our residents. We firmly believe in being as flexible as possible and to allow each resident as much control over their post graduate education as possible. Training activities are conducted over a three-year period and are directed towards providing residents with opportunities to apply osteopathic concepts of total health care in the practice of family.
