Dr. Radhika Pathalapati (Dr. Pat)
Dr. Radhika Pathalapati “Dr. Pat” is committed to educating the next generation of physicians. She has been on the teaching faculty of Lower Bucks Hospital since 2015, concentrating on both internal and family medicine and nephrology practices. She was named director of the internal medicine program in May 2019.
Dr. Radhika is the owner of Bucks County Kidney Specialists, a successful nephrology and hypertension practice in Langhorne, PA, where she treats patients with chronic and acute kidney disease, autoimmune diseases, patients on dialysis as well as those suffering from recurrent kidney stones and urinary tract infection.
Before establishing her own practice in 2010, Dr. Radhika was a nephrology and hypertension specialist at another practice in Bucks County. Currently, she is the medical director of Oxford Court Dialysis Center, Newtown Dialysis Center, and Statesman Dialysis Center.
Dr. Radhika received her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. (M.B.B.S) from Sri Venkateswara Medical College, Tirupati, AP, India, and an internship at Sri Venkateswara Government General Hospital, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India.
She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Metropolitan Hospital Center, New York Medical College, New York City, and her fellowship in nephrology at Metropolitan Hospital Center, Our Lady of Mercy Hospital and Westchester Medical Center/ New York Medical College in New York City.
Dr. Radhika has hospital privileges at St Mary Medical Center, Lower Bucks Hospital, St Mary Rehab, and Jefferson Bucks Hospitals.
Dr. Radhika is a dedicated clinician and educator. Her interest focuses on resident education. She has mentored various research projects and has won several teaching awards.
She has also served as a volunteer researcher in the Department of Pain Management at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA, the Department of Medicine/Pediatrics at Metropolitan Hospital Center, New York Medical College, New York City, and the Department of Pediatrics at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island & Women and Infants Hospital, Brown University School of Medicine, Providence, RI.

As the Program Manager, Michelle coordinates and manages all aspects of the Internal Medicine residency program. She is the primary point of contact for residents, faculty, and staff, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration within the program. Her role involves managing the residency recruitment process, organizing educational activities and rotations, and maintaining accreditation standards set forth by regulatory bodies. Additionally, she provides administrative support to the Program Director with curriculum development, scheduling, and resident evaluations.
