The Lower Bucks Hospital Residency Programs participate in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Complete applications require a medical school transcript, COMLEX and/or USMLE transcript, CV and three letters of recommendation.
Applicants must meet the following minimum criteria listed below.
Applications will be reviewed by our Resident Selection Committee. Only those selected to interview will be contacted.
All applications must be submitted via ERAS. Application materials submitted via email, fax, mail or any online resource other than ERAS will not be accepted or reviewed.
Internal Medicine Applicant Requirements
- Graduate of medical school in the United States or Canada accredited by the LCME;
- Graduate of osteopathic medical school accredited by the AOA;
- Graduate of medical schools outside the United States who meet the following qualifications:
- Have received a currently valid certificate from the ECFMG
- Six months U.S. clinical experience (includes observerships, or externships)
- Medical school graduation within the last five years.
- Successful completion (on first attempt) of USMLE Steps 1 & 2, CS & CK – OR – COMLEX Steps 1 & 2, CE & PE. Minimum score for USMLE Step 1&2 are 214 & 220. Minimum score for COMLEX Step 1 & 2 are 500 & 520.
- U. S. citizenship -OR- be a U.S. permanent resident with a Green card -OR- J1 visa.
Family Medicine Residency Application Requirements
- Graduate of medical school in the United States or Canada accredited by the LCME;
- Graduate of accredited osteopathic medical school;
- Graduate of medical schools outside the United States who meet the following qualifications:
- Have received a currently valid certificate from the ECFMG
- Six months U.S. clinical experience (can include observerships, or externships)
- Medical school graduation within the last five years.
- Successful completion of USMLE Steps 1 & 2, CS & CK – OR – COMLEX Steps 1 & 2, CE & PE. Minimum score for USMLE Step 1&2 are 220, Minimum score for COMLEX Step 1 & 2 are 410.
- U. S. citizenship -OR- be a U.S. permanent resident with a Green card -OR- J1 visa.
