Lower Bucks Hospital Donates Thanksgiving Meals to Bucks County Residents

Bristol, PA (11/21/2023) –Lower Bucks Hospital’s employees and the Bristol Borough School District came together to donate nineteen Thanksgiving baskets to residents in the Bucks County area. Each basket was complete with all the fixings for a tasty Thanksgiving meal, including mashed potatoes, vegetables, stuffing, gravy, napkins, rolls, pastries, pies, and a bottle of sparkling cider.

“I’m proud of the colleagues at Lower Bucks Hospital for going above and beyond for our food basket drive year after year,” said Renee Stewart, ACNO of Lower Bucks Hospital. With each basket, we are not only helping families access nourishment; each basket is an opportunity for community members to share a holiday meal with loved ones, which can positively impact mental and emotional health as well.”

For most families, the price of groceries has drastically changed how they celebrate the holidays. For those struggling, donating a traditional Thanksgiving meal can help turn their holiday into a joyful one. Over the last couple of years, Lower Bucks Hospital has committed to helping families of local neighbors during the holiday season.

Stewart added, “We are proud to partner every year with Bristol Borough School District to donate Thanksgiving baskets to the community.”
